Why This Matters

The City of Southport is attacking private property rights. For years, homeowners have invested their time, care, and resources into maintaining and improving their homes.
Now, the City is:
  • Forcing certain homeowners to remove fences.
  • Selectively enforcing long-abandoned right-of-way claims.
  • Threatening property values, safety, and even increasing risks such as flooding.

This is not just about one property. If city officials can target a few homeowners today, they can target any of us tomorrow.
Ask yourself:
  • Do you want the City telling you what you must do with your property—without notice?
  • Do you want government officials picking and choosing who to punish, based on politics or personal grudges?
  • Do you want to see your property value destroyed because of inconsistent, unfair enforcement?

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!

Take Action Now

Southport must remain a place where families feel safe investing in their homes and futures —not a place of government overreach and selective enforcement.
